SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This SMS Terms & Conditions page ("SMS Terms") describes the Trusted Insurance Quote & Account Alerts Program (the "Program"), operated by Trusted Insurance Agency, LLC. It applies to anyone who opts in to receive text messages from us. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1 Program Description

The Program sends text messages related to:

  • Quote requests and follow-up on insurance quotes you've asked for;
  • Policy servicing, including renewal reminders, payment reminders, and document requests;
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders with a licensed agent; and
  • Account or claims status updates on coverage you hold with us.

We do not send marketing messages from unrelated third parties, and we do not use the Program to send content unrelated to your insurance quote, policy, or account.

2 How You Opt In

You are enrolled in the Program only when you affirmatively opt in, such as by:

  • Checking the SMS consent box on our quote request form at trusted-ins.com and submitting your mobile number; or
  • Providing verbal or written consent to a Trusted Insurance agent, who records that consent in our system.

We do not enroll phone numbers that have not affirmatively opted in, and we do not obtain mobile numbers from any source other than you or your authorized representative.

3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your quote status, policy activity, and any appointments you schedule. You should generally expect no more than a few messages per month, though this may increase temporarily during active quoting or claims handling.

4 Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and plan. Trusted Insurance does not charge you directly for Program messages.

5 How to Opt Out

You can cancel the Program at any time. Text STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further messages from the Program unless you opt in again. If you have questions, text HELP or contact us at the number or email listed below.

6 Getting Help

For help with the Program at any time, text HELP to the number messaging you, call us at 385-695-1091, or email support@trusted-ins.com. We will respond with instructions on how to opt out and how to get further assistance.

7 Supported Carriers & Carrier Liability

The Program is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless provider and factors outside our control.

8 No Sharing of Mobile Information

Text message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number and SMS consent status are used solely to operate the Program as described above. This does not apply to our underlying subcontractors and messaging platform providers who send messages on our behalf, or to disclosures required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on how we handle your information.

9 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided to participate in the Program.

10 Changes to the Program

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Program, or these SMS Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Compliance note: your 10DLC campaign registration (brand + campaign, e.g. via Telnyx) should describe this same Program consistently, matching message frequency language, opt-in method, and this exact URL as your "Terms & Privacy" link. Mismatches between what's registered and what's published here are one of the most common causes of carrier rejection or throughput throttling.
